{Thirsty Thursday} THE Perfect Shower Punch Recipe

Happy Thirsty Thursday, friends!

Today I'm throwing you all for a loop...
this week's recipe is delicious...and contains NO Alcohol {GASP}

I know, I know...but have no fear. You could easily give this Punch a kick
by adding your favorite alcohol. I think it would be yummy with a little
champagne or rum ,)

I used this particular punch recipe at a recent PINK & GREEN Lil Ladybug Baby Shower.
It was the perfect shade of lime green & it was so delicious & easy!

Ingredients:
1 Package Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid
4 Cups Cold Water
2 1/2 Cups Pineapple Juice (chilled)
1- 2 Liter Bottle of Ginger Ale (chilled)
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Can Pineapple Rings

Directions:
Add all ingredients to a large serving pitcher/ punch bowl
Mix well
Float pineapple rings for garnish
*Add Coconut Rum for an adult kick*

Pour...Enjoy...Repeat!!

{COLLECTION DEBUT} Lil Ladybug Baby Shower

Introducing the brand new . . . .
'Lil Ladybug" baby shower collection!

Here's what you get in this collection . . .
(pictured above}

1. banner - the banner included is the 'circle style' & says "BABY SHOWER" & includes the ladybug character - these circles can also be cut out & used for hanging decor or centerpieces since they are 4" circles

2. tags / toppers/ circles - use for accents on your table decor & food table - simply cut them out or use a punch, glue to lollipop stick/toothpick, jar - pretty much anything & done! Also can be used to make a mini banner bunting.

3. drink flags - comes in 2 different designs with the pink dot pattern & the green stripe pattern - attach these to straws or toothpicks for a fun way to coordinate the party decor.

4. food / drink / decor labels - comes with 4 different designs  - each will have plenty of room so you can write in whatever you need to label

5. 'Imagine' cards - a PERFECT keepsake for the momma. Have guests write anything that they "imagine" the baby will be. What color eyes will she have? Who will she look like? What will she be when she grows up?

6. thank you card from baby - this is a fun & adorable idea to use as a token to the guests as a "thank you" for 'showering' the parents at the shower

7. Welcome sign / framed art - 8 x 10 print can be framed to use as decor on your table or a welcome sign for the guests. Says "Welcome Lil Ladybug"

8. Ladybug Graphics - use these to decorate around the party or as photo props or even centerpiece decor.

{CRAFTY Tip Tuesday} Wooden Pom Utensils

Hey everyone!!
It’s me, Staci from lizard & ladybug.  I was super excited when Laura invited me to join Team Eye Candy!
I’m happy to be spending some time here with you!

I’ve fallen (hard) for wooden utensils lately.  I don’t know what it is about them but I just have to have them!  I picked up a collection from Very Jane last month.  I didn’t really have a need for them, at the time, but I knew I needed them :)

When I got them, I immediately knew what I was going to do with them.

I dig neon too so it was a no-brainer.

Cute, right?

And for those who don’t have wooden utensils
or those who just want to pretty-up your plastic silverware

Why shouldn’t your plastic be pretty?!?!

I am a big fan of simple and cute projects.
Especially projects that are easy on the wallet.

Love it or hate it,
I’d love to hear what you think of this idea.

Thanks Laura, for trusting me with your awesome blog today!!
Have a great Tuesday everyone!

{PARTY FEATURE} Lil Ladybug Baby Shower

Hello! It's Cineca & I was so excited to work on this adorable Lil Ladybug baby shower!
PINKGREEN is such a fun color combination...and honestly who doesn't love all of the sweet baby girl details?! :) This shower definitely kicked my baby fever into high gear!

I knew that I wanted a unique printable collection for this shower, so I turned to
my talented friend Laura at Eye Candy Event Details. All I told her was that I wanted a sweet & girly ladybug theme with touches of frills & daisies, and then let her run with it. As usual, I was blown away by the cuteness! Laura designed a collection based on a sweet Lil Ladybug, complete with pearls, bows & the longest eye lashes ever!

I wasn't sure how I would feel about a traditional diaper wreath, but I wanted to give it a shot. And I couldn't have been happier! I love how it turned out. It was the perfect way to greet guests and would look so cute hanging in the baby's room.

The Welcome Table with 'Thank You' Notes from baby Ellie, 'Imagine' Cards,
and the first picture of baby Ellie (her sonogram picture)

Instead of a guestbook, I wanted to provide the mom-to-be with a
fun keepsake that would also double as an activity for the guests. As soon as I saw the green, polka-dot 'Imagine' sign, I knew it would be fun to have the guests fill out 'Imagine What I'll Be' cards. They wrote what they thought baby Ellie would be when she grew up, what color eyes she would have, and how much she would weigh. Momma had a cute pink & green scrapbook to save all of the 'Imagine' cards.

A variety of food was served, including queso, cucumber dip, southwest dip,
veggies, southwest egg rolls, mini tacos...and a delicious array of sweets.
The desserts included individual strawberry cheesecakes that were served in
large baby food jars, fruit kabobs with strawberry yogurt dip, custom chocolate covered oreos with fondant toppers, lime & strawberry petits fours, ladybug & daisy cookies, and an adorable watermelon 'baby carriage' filled with fruit that the momma-to-be made. Mimosas were offered to the guests, as well as a lime green punch for the kiddos & preggos (there were 3 pregnant women at the shower)

Congrats to the parents-to-be & Welcome Lil EllieBug!
