A dog is the only thing on this earth that loves you more than he loves himself.

With that being said, let’s not forget to show some love to our furry dog family members this holiday season.

It would be great to make a bunch of these Gingerbread Man Biscuits to share with your furry dog friends.

I packed some biscuits up in a clear cellophane bag and tied them with some ribbon. To make the recipes even more festive, I used Laura’s FREE recipe card printable and included it with the treats!  I’m sure this will make your furry friends love you even more.  Plus, by including the recipe, the biscuits can be made again and again.

Gingerbread Man Biscuits

3 cups whole wheat flour

2 Tbsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

½ tsp. ground cloves

½ cup molasses

½ cup water

¼ cup canola oil

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon and cloves until combined.

In a small bowl, using a sturdy spoon, stir together the molasses, water and canola oil.  Pour the molasses mixture into the flour.  Using the same sturdy spoon, stir ingredients until thoroughly combined.  Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thickness.  Use your favorite cookie cutter to cut shapes.

Bake for 20 minutes.  Cool completely on a wire rack.

Makes approximately 28 dog biscuits.

She loves creating memory books and cards and would spend my whole day scrapbooking, but I do need to make time to take care of my family.  You know, those funthings like laundry, cleaning the house, etc.

Back in March, 2012, she had the privilege of going to NYC as part of Martha Stewart’s Dreamers into Doers to attend some workshops and the live taping of her show.  She enjoyed meeting lots of wonderful entrepreneurial women.  What a great experience it was!
