School's out for SUMMER!!!! whoohooooo!
It's officially SUMMER BREAK here in my house, we have completed the last week of school and I officially have an 8th grader kid starting in the fall! Someone please tell me HOW that happened?!?!?!
BUT for now, we are just looking forward to sleeping in, pool days, shopping, LOTS of girl days and time spent with friends and all of the FUN we can have this summer.
A while back, we started doing something EVERY summer and it's turned into one of our favorite traditions: a Summer BUCKET LIST. If you have been a follower for awhile, you know I give you these every year and I so am hoping you are enjoying using them because I know we do. ;)
It's the perfect way to have your kids list the things that they would "like" to do, not to mention it is so nice to see what creative things they can dream up every summer. Does it mean they get to do it all? Well no, but it's a good opportunity to share with them how to come up with creative ways to maybe hit most of them. Take my advice . . . make those memories happen the best that you can for the summer, take whatever time you can to make it happen, enjoy it, be in the moment and ENJOY as they will LOVE spending the time with you and never forget this tradition every summer! Plus we all know our kids are ALL growing up at an alarming rate and will be gone before we know it. But I digress, no tears today, this is all about MAKING MEMORIES!!!! =)
This free download is easy to use as you will find that it comes with the year on it so you can save it for the scrapbooks (like I do) and can easily write down all of the things you want to do and check them off as you go! Because c'mon, the checking things off the list part is the BEST, am I right?
Here you go, enjoy your summer with the kids! ;)
Feel free to download your own 'Summer Bucket List' and enjoy the SUMMER of 2016!!

So HOW will you spend your summer? A couple things on OUR
list to do this year are: hanging out at the pool, planning our dog's birthday party, crafting marathons,
girls days with my mom, planning some fun get togethers with her friends, sleepovers, maybe a beach vacation . .
to
some simple things like . . . flying a kite, and a picnic in the park.

Yay for summer! This list is great for the kiddos but I'm sure I can use it for travel planning too. 😍
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of making a summer bucket list. I hope you achieve every item on yours!
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me I'll need to print out more than one. My honey-do list is a lot longer than this!
ReplyDeleteCute cute printable! I think I will use it for each of us and then create an ultimate one!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. This summer we are going cross country to the BlogPaws conference and I promise to finish my book.
ReplyDeleteI would love me this printable! I may have to contact you to make me printables. This is lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun making bucket lists for anything but mostly for summer.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! I'm downloading this. I do "Fun Fridays' with my kids during the summer and we can use this as our Fun Friday's Bucket List for the summer. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't love this more. The fact you put check boxes there is even more brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome idea. I give them something to work for and a way to explore.
ReplyDeleteI so am in love with all of your printables and graphics and everything cute you do! Love your style! And this bucket list is going to be used for ME for doing fun beachy things...not sure what yet...but its coming! :)

I love that the kids can check things off as they do them.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a summer bucket list yet. Two things on my list will be to complete yoga teacher training and go to my first yoga retreat.
ReplyDeleteMy son would love to fill one of these out. Off to print him a copy.
ReplyDeleteWe made a bucket list one summer - it was so fun. We will need to use your printable and do it again!
ReplyDeleteBeach-pool-beach-pool....that's the majority of our annual list! We sprinkle in a few vacations but spend a ton of time soaking up our Florida sunshine!
ReplyDeleteThis is so much fun! I am going to print this out. WE are going to have a blast this summer!
ReplyDeleteI need this bucket list. The kids are already on summer break so I know there are a few things that we can knock out this summer. Thanks for the printable.
ReplyDeleteI need to be thinking about what all I want to do this summer!! So far on my list: go to Nashville, go to Crave (which is a huge food festival in my city), go all out for the 4th of July (it's my favorite holiday), and that's all I can think of so far :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about this. Often summer goes and I get too busy to plan fun things. Now I wont. and my kids can put down what they want too.
ReplyDeleteWith two littles I could really use a way to organize all our summertime activities. Thanks for the awesome printable.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what is on our summer bucket list - I think kicking off summer with our vacation to the east coast is a sure sign we are full in summer!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I will definitely be printing this off and writing up my summer bucket list, a great organisation tip - thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute! On my summer bucket list are "regular workouts" and "de-cluttering the house". Just for fun I might add "see a movie at the drive-in" because outdoor movies are what make summer awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe usually end up taking more classes and doing more school work in the summer. The days are so much longer, we can fill our schedule and still have plenty of time left for lazy beach trips and long forest walks.
ReplyDeleteI have decided because of your blog that I am doing a summer bucket list for family and for fitness. You have inspired me and I love the printable. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI am all about the summer bucket list! I love how this turned out and that you are letting us have one for free! ;) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI need to print this out so I can remind myself every single thing I want to do this summer. I can't wait until the last day of school here in NYC on June 28th.
ReplyDeleteLove summer! And having a bucket list is definitely a must!
ReplyDeleteCutest printable ever!!!!!! I must print this out and make my family a bucket list!
