ART PRINTS :: Week 4 - 30 Day EC Creative INK Challenge

Hello! Can you believe I am sharing week 4, which is the FINAL week of the challenge already? (sad face) I loved doing this 30 days of creative INK challenge so much and you all made it so much more for me as well. I have so enjoyed chatting with you, reading all of the encouraging comments and love you have given to me, which means I NEED to do this again soon! ;) 

The whole point of this challenge was to set a goal and push myself to be better, be more, reach a goal, keep up with my skill and HOPEFULLY inspire you all along the way. Some of you have sent the sweetest notes to me that made this whole challenge more worthwhile than I had ever dreamed it being. Doing things like this is so good for my soul and I am assuming good for yours as well, as it fueled us all, which is was inspiration can do!

I was so happy that so many of you gave me amazing 'fan suggestions' to ink and as you know, I used quite a few of them. I would guess at least 40% of what I did was based on your suggestions which also means all of those people will be getting their suggestion sent digitally to them. If I used your suggestion, I will need you to send me an email to me at laura@eyecandycs.com so I have your email and can get you your print just as soon as I get them scanned in, cleaned up and ready to send out.

I hope you will continue to follow me via Instagram as I have some ideas planned for my next challenge and also some great ideas planned for these so you don't want to miss it! ;)

Hello! I am already sharing week 3 of the challenge which means I am currently in the LAST week! (sad face) I still can not believe it but I do have some fun plans for something with these after this is over that I can not wait to share with you! Since starting the 30 days of creative INK challenge, I have enjoyed interacting with you daily and I hope this next 'thing' I have planned will help continue that! Please, if you haven't already, join me over on Instagram to see what I will "ink" for the day and get in a 'fan suggestion' soon as there is only a few days left to do so! 

There have been quite a few of you, who have qualified to receive a FREE art print from me thanks to your 'fan suggestion' that I chose to ink for you all. In fact I believe I have quite a few 'fan suggestions' coming this last week! ;)

Again, in case you missed my opening announcement about this a couple weeks ago, here is a re-cap of sorts:

YAY! We are already in week 2 of the challenge which means I am half way through this! I can not believe it as I am having such a blast with this and getting to chat with you all about the amazing suggestions you keep coming up with! The 30 days of creative INK challenge, has made it possible to interact with you daily and I could not be happier! I love that you all have joined me over on Instagram to see what I will "ink" for the day and if you haven't yet, feel free to join in now as I have plenty left to ink for all of you!

ART PRINTS :: the 30 Day EC Creative INK Challenge

   

I am so excited to bring you my latest design idea! I want to challenge myself to "ink" an art print every day for 30 days to discover all of the different ways I can have fun with some hand lettering designs! I have always wanted to try some kind of challenge and I thought this would be a great place to start! But the best part is . . .YOU get to help! Yup that's right and possibly earn a FREE art print by doing so. Sounds interesting right about now huh? ;)


How this challenge works is every day for 30 days, starting March 1, I will share my daily creative "ink" that I have hand lettered for the day! I will be posting them via Instagram so make sure you are following me there to get in on the action! During the challenge I will be trying out different styles, hand lettering on different mediums, using different media . . . all kinds of ideas are floating around in my head and I can not wait to try some of them and share with you how they turn out. I think it's important when you have a talent, such as this, to keep practicing as much as you can so you are always putting your 'best' work out there. So that is simply why I want to do this, plus I think it will be fun since you all get the chance to be involved.

 

How can you be involved? Well, when I post every day on Instagram, simply put a suggested phrase, word, song lyric, quote . . . anything you want, as a "fan suggestion" of something you would like to see me "ink" and if I use your suggestion, I will send you the piece that I "ink" via email for FREE! If you would prefer to send me an email with your "fan suggestion" please do so, at laura@eyecandycs.com. I will be using the hashtag #30daysECcreativeINK in case you want to find them all quickly. ;)

When offering up a suggestion, please include the idea and what color you would like to see the art print done in. I promise I will be picking winners at least weekly (maybe more) during this 30 days, so you have a greater chance of getting selected and I like to have multiple winners, so make sure to play along.
