SIPS :: St. Patty's Day Shamrock-a-Tini

cocktail recipe, st pattys day cocktail, shamrock cocktail, how to make

Hello everyone . . .. it's time for COCKTAILS WITH CINECA!

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner & I couldn't be more excited! I pull out my 'Kiss Me I'm Irish' t-shirt, watch Boondock Saints (for the 777th time) and get my annual 4 leaf clover tattoo in memory of my little brother. It may not be the way everyone celebrates St. Patty's Day, but it's my tradition...and I love it!

I'll admit, I also attempt to catch that silly leprechaun. I've never found his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but I may have found something better. A deliciously green St. Patty's Cocktail...
The Shamrock-a-Tini
Ingredients:
4 ounces good Vodka (Skyy, Ketel One or Grey Goose)
2 ounces Apple Pucker
2 ounces Midori Liqueur
Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Directions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
Add Vodka, Pucker & Midori
Shake, Shake, Shake Your Money Maker
Pour into two chilled martini glasses
Garnish with a maraschino cherry

shamrock-a-tini, st pattys day cocktail recipe, cocktail, martini glass, vodka, midori

Happy St. Patrick's Day, my friends! Cheers to a year full of Luck O' The Irish!

{CRAFTY TIP TUESDAY} Washi Tape Utensils

Top O’ The Mornin’ To Y’all!
It’s Melissa O’Newell stopping by Eye Candy Event Details to bring you a quick fun budget party tutorial!

Washi Tape Utensils
Washi Tape is a very thin paper tape that seems to come in 100’s of patterns and colors. I am obsessed with using it to brighten up any party!
If you are not familiar with Japanese Washi Tape then you are missing out! OR maybe you bought that cute little tape and still have not found a use for it!  You are in LUCK!

All I did for this quick fun idea is take my plain old plastic utensils and pick three different patterns of Washi Tape.

Covered them long wise and pressed down good.  The tape seems to stick VERY well to plastic. (unlike the wooden utensils where it does seem to come up more often than not).

There you have it – fun party ware!  I love mixing up the patterns. The kids seem to really love them and I just love the pop of color it adds to the party.  I would pair with a white plate so that the colors pop out more!

Have a great St. Patrick’s Day and until next time…Party On Friends!

I did that on purpose as I want to know & get a feel for what the person who emails me sees themselves doing in these (flexible) positions on the blog. These positions have the potential to be what you would like them to be on here. If you have a little experience or a lot and you want to email me, please do! I will be choosing at least 1 person for each but I could always change my mind & add more. ;)

{COLLECTION DEBUT} Surfs Up Baby Shower

As you know I just LOVE receiving CUSTOM orders to design for my clients. This by far was a super EXCITING one for me to design as hellooooooo . . . I love everything surfing, I used to reside in Cali and what is NOT cool about a surf theme?
The best part is they wanted to keep the colors generic because the couple was NOT finding out what the baby gender was - they were keeping it a surprise! I LOVE that . . . I did that with the birth of my daughter & am so glad I waited & was surprised! How fun!!!! SO the colors of coral & a soft teal just really exuuuuude the 'surfer vibe' don't ya think? Me likey. ;)

Introducing the brand new . . . .
'SURFS UP" baby shower collection

This is the perfect collection for those wanting a gender neutral color scheme or theme!
Here's what you get in this collection . . .
(pictured above}
1. banner - that says "Welcome Baby" along with the surfboard graphics

2. paper pack - you receive 4 different design/ color combinations in this pack that can be used for scrapbook paper, craft ideas, decor accents & to make pinwheel circles

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

3. Welcome Sign - 8 x 10 print can be framed to use as decor on your table or a welcome sign on the front door for your guests. It says "Welcome Lil Surfer"

4. drink flags - attach these to straws for a fun way to coordinate in 2 different designs
5. food / drink / decor labels - comes with 2 different designs - each will have plenty of room so you can write in whatever you need to label. Easy fold-over tent style allows them to stand up on table.

6. napkin wraps - you will get 3 different designs/ color combinations that are great to use on napkins or decor accents
7. '"WISH" cards - use these as a keepsake for the momma. Have guests write anything that they "wish" for the baby.
**says: 'wishes for lil surfer' on them

8. toppers/ circles - use for accents to your table decor - simply cut them out or use a punch, glue to lollipop stick or toothpick & done!
Hope you love this collection as much as I do!
You can find the SURFS UP collection in my Etsy shop!

There is also a SURFS UP invitation (of course!)

I personally think this collection would be amazing as a BIRTHDAY PARTY collection as well! A quick color change, a couple tweaks & BAM! Surfer b-day collection! I just put it on MY design list. ;)
 As always, if you EVER have any special custom design party collection idea requests, PLEASE feel free to email me anytime & I can design one for YOU!
