LETTERING :: Farmhouse Easter Eggs

    

Hello everyone!

Who here loves the farmhouse look that is so popular right now? What about a simple black and white color combo? Well if you answered YES to either of those then you are going to love love love what I have to share with you today! My latest creation and offering just for you: custom lettered farmhouse Easter eggs!

Lately I have had more hand lettering ideas than I honestly have time to do BUT I was so excited about this one, that I made the time to hand letter a few sets, posted them on Instagram to see what people thought and they sold pretty quick. Since that happened, I thought I would share them with all of you to see if anyone else might like to have a set of their own. ;) 

Just so you know, these eggs are non-breakable, come in a white matte finish and are pretty light. I am offering them in a set of six and have them available in TWO different themes: this one pictured above, with more of a faith based vibe and I also did one with a general spring theme. AND I now have them listed in my Etsy shop and you too can grab a set (before they sell out) and have them for your Easter decor!

I love the fact that I kept them black and white so they fit into any color scheme but especially into a home filled with the farmhouse theme. These are perfect for Easter baskets - have them customized with different people's names or use them at your Easter gathering as placecards for seating around the table.

Or you can simply just enjoy them in your farmhouse decor and the best part? . . .  YOU pick the words you wish for me to letter on your eggs for you. Choose your own but I am also happy to help you come up with the perfect words for your decor too. ;)

Hello there and happy spring to everyone as it officially has begun! April is here, it's getting warmer around this part of the country and we don't have any holidays for a little bit so we can sit back and ENJOY the springtime and get out there and maybe do some fun things outside. I for one, am ALWAYS super busy in April as that is my daughter's birthday month and this year is an EPIC year in our home as she is turning THIRTEEN!!! (sigh) Oh how I wish I could just hit the pause button for a little bit! ;)

But we are having a blast planning a couple parties . . .yup I said that - she is having TWO parties, an 'EPIC sleepover party' and then a small party planned with our family. I mean she ONLY turns thirteen once and she is my only kid so ya know why not! ;) Plus I enjoy doing them for her as I can always remember when I was growing up and my momma making a HUGE deal on our birthdays as it should be, as a matter of fact she still does to some extent because hey . . . it was THE day YOU were born and the world changed when you got here, know what I mean. ;) YOU deserve it!!!

But before we move on and get in to all of the fun April will bring to us, let's take a look back on what you guys were loving in March. As usual (yay) you loved the hand lettered prints I am continuing to create for you all plus a little crafting and home decor thrown in there as well. DECOR :: Easter Mantel Ideas

Hello my friends and welcome to SPRING!!! Today I wanted to pop on here real quick and share with all of you what I did with my mantel this year for Easter! Some years I go all out and other years I try to do the 'minimalist' look and I think this year was one of those years. I have been purging a lot of 'extra stuff' around the house and have settled on the things that I truly love and so that is what I decorated with this year. Most of the items you will see me use, I already had but of course I DID buy a couple new items because there were some really cute things out in the stores I visit, this year. The 'Happy Easter' art I picked up at Marshalls and the Easter bunny garland I found in the Dollar Spot at Target, as well as that pink honeycomb bowl.

After I decorated, I realized I may have a slight fondness of bunnies as they make quite an appearance on the mantel and around the rest of my house. I kept the mantel more on the whimsical side this year whereas the other Easter decor I have around the house is more the natural looking items. I love how it turned out and has put us all in the mood for Easter. I mean Easter bunnies, Easter chick and Easter eggs oh my! ;)

I really love Easter and everything about it. I love the whimsical side of it involving fun Easter egg hunts, the fun bright colors and all of the bunnies, chicks and fun items that just make it Easter. However I never forget the real reason we even have Easter and the meaning behind it. For all of you that believe like I do, I will have a fabulous art piece that I will be sharing here in a couple days, just in time to celebrate our King. Until then, hopefully you all enjoyed checking out my Easter mantel decor for this year and are in the mood at your home too, to celebrate however you do. ;)
