4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?  

Bake several different types of cookies with my kids, I started this tradition with my nephews who are in their late teens and early twenties and they still remember it!

 

5. What does YOUR stocking look like?

It is sparkly of course! 

6. Favorite Christmas treat?

Fudge and egg nog

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation? 

Christmas Vacation

8. When do you start decorating your house?

the day after Thanksgiving

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

Four, one for the kids with all their ornaments and colored lights, one in each of their rooms and one for me! I like mine more modern, but love to watch my kids eyes light up with their Christmas tree! It melts my heart!

 

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

NICE!

Well, I'm still waiting for Bruno Mars to release his holiday album but lets just say  O Holy Night.

3. If you were a reindeer - which one would you be? And WHY?  

And WHY? Rudolph. I love being a leader.

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?  

Being from South Texas, my family always prepares a large Mexican food feast on Christmas Eve. I am the cook, and I love it!

 

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

This year I am going through a divorce. I have always had our family stockings for my husband, me and the children matching. I am sorry to say that this year I did not get out those stockings. I am searching for something new for myself and my kids as we begin our new chapter together.

6. Favorite Christmas treat?

any thing my mom makes. Especially her candied pecans

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation? 

Oh that's a no brainer. Christmas Vacation. Anyone who knows me knows.

8. When do you start decorating your house?

I used to wait until my birthday which is on the 14th but this year we started early right after thanksgiving!

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

Usually one in the family room that changes themes every year and each child one in their room that they can decorate themselves.

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

um , both. Let's leave it at that.

Artist sketch pad and pencils. I was always into drawing and writing poems.

2. Favorite Christmas song? 

Little Drummer Boy . I crank the radio up every time it comes on.

3. If you were a reindeer - which one would you be? And WHY?   

Dasher because I'm full of energy and move a mile a minute. My friends say they get exhausted just reading how much I do in an hour. I'm also told I walk too fast ;)

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?  

Going to pick out a tree from a tree farm and cutting it down. Getting the tree kicks off the Christmas season for me.

 

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

My stocking was knitted by my aunt when I was little. It's red and green. I still use it because it was made for me and not just bought at the store. Homemade means a lot to me.

6. Favorite Christmas treat?

Anything peppermint

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation? 

Christmas Vacation. Hilarious and I love the message in it. No matter what goes wrong, family is what is important. 

8. When do you start decorating your house?

the day after Thanksgiving

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

I only put up one tree. We don't have room in our house for more. I don't do a colour scheme. I'm not into matchy-matchy when it comes to my tree. I like the variety of all the ornaments and different coloured lights.

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

A little of both ;)
