FREEBIE :: Thanksgiving Pie Topper

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and everyone is busy making plans for the big day and thinking about what they will serve and have on their menus. I love this time of year as it gives us all a pause and allows us extra time to spend with all of our families and friends before the official 'rush' of the holidays sets in. When you think of Thanksgiving, what comes to mind? Your family memories as a kid, that special side dish that your aunt always brings every year, or maybe it's passing a football in the back yard with your brothers and cousins. FREEBIE :: Happy Harvest Art Print

    

Happy FALL friends! 
 
If you are anything like me, then you have already decorated for fall or at least been thinking about getting started. I love gathering all of my fall decor and trying to decide 'how' I want to decorate for the year. My home is becoming more neutral these days and so I wanted a piece of art that had neutral tones but also a shot of color. Plus, once I laid out what I had for the fall season to decorate with, I decided I wanted a new art print.
 

 
One night I sat down and did a few sketches of some ideas I had been thinking about. Here is the original from my sketchbook and then the after of what I turned it into, once it was digitized, so you can see a little of the progression! Pretty cool huh?

This colorful fall hand lettered art print says "Happy Harvest" and comes with a little pumpkin illustration too! I love how it turned out and fits in so perfectly with what I envisioned.
