Hello my friends! Since St. Patty's day is this month, I wanted to bring you something a little different. I wanted to ink up a print that was a little on the crazy fun side. I don't know about you but it seems like EVERY time I hear people saying the word 'lucky' or talking about being 'lucky' or even quoting something about 'luck', I naturally go there. Every. Single. Time.

That's right.

This quote. This infamous quote is what I immediately think of and it puts a smile on my face every time. Ya know what is hilarious? . . . when I was inking this to share with you guys, my daughter peeked at it and asked "why? Just why? I don't get it." Too funny, I know, so I gave her a quick 'greatest-movie-quotes-of-all-time' lesson and sent her on her way! lol ;) I mean she HAS to know about the great actors of our time, am I right or am I right?

I will forever be a Barbie-loving girl. I collected them as a kid and still enjoy them with my daughter now.

hands down . . .'O Holy Night' . . .I cry like a baby every time!

Dasher . . . I am always running in a thousand different directions

 
4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?

I can't name just one . . . baking/decorating cookies with my whole family when my brothers are in town, drinking out of our 'Christmas Vacation' moose mugs ;)

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

it has a snowman on it - I love whimsical & bright colors

6. Favorite Christmas treat?

drinking Baileys & coffee while enjoying my moms famous chocolate chip cookies 

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation? 

without a doubt . . . Christmas Vacation!!!! Gotta love the Griswolds ;)

8. When do you start decorating your house?

usually right after Halloween . . .I have A LOT to decorate!

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

I believe we are did six this year (used to be seven but I combined themes on one this year) . . . 1. - a main one in the living room that is totally color coded in aquas, reds, greens and white, 2. - my daughter's small woodland tree with all of her childhood ornaments on it, 3. - a large woodland tree with ONLY Barbie ornaments on it (I told you I love Barbie), 4. another large woodland tree decorated with Starbucks ornaments & girly ornaments, 5.- an Ohio State tree down in the man cave, 6.- a small tree decorated with only nutcracker ornaments in the man cave as well

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

always nice with a little bit of naughty ;)

Where you Look Is Where You go!

Think about that for one second. 
Seriously reallllly take the time to focus on what that means and let it sink in. It is very profound and I recently had this amazing opportunity to hear the person who this quote is from, speak, at a blogging conference I attended. 

She is an amazing person. She has a way of getting people fired up and psyched about where they are going in life.

She can motivate a crowd. She can make them laugh and cry all at the same time. She is an incredible athlete. Ok she is THE best and she has many many medals including a brand new shiny silver medal from the latest Olympic games to prove it. ;)

She made us all proud at the winter games when she showed us what determination is. What it's like to overcome an impossible situation and make your dreams possible. She showed us raw emotions as a "normal" person and a momma when she jumped into the crowd after winning a medal to hug her family.

She is an American hero. She is Noelle Pikus-Pace.

When she was speaking at the SNAP blogging conference I just attended a couple weeks ago, she said this quote & it really resonated with me, so much that I knew I HAD to make a printable art print of it & share it with you all.

She was sharing a story of how she wrecked, one time, because of where she was looking as she was going down the course. She was focusing on a spot where she did NOT want to go, looking there instead of where she SHOULD be going . . . looking somewhere she did NOT want to go or she knew she would wreck. Sure enough, she did. She wrecked and it taught her a lesson . . . where we look is where we go! 

Where we look is where we go.

This can be applied to many things in life but mostly for me its where I want to be with my business. If I focus on where I want to go, where I want to be . . . then surely that's where I will end up right? It makes so much sense to me, like it did with her too & hopefully you can take away the same message from this as well.

Print out one or both of these prints, frame those babies and keep it somewhere that will be a daily reminder to stay focused on WHERE you look! Enjoy!
