I am so excited to be bringing you this soiree today.  

Working with Laura on the invite to my soon-to-be daughter in law’s bridal luncheon was so much fun.  Laura told me she wanted to make this extra special. I gave her some ideas of what I was thinking in my scattered brain. She came up with this!

 

PERFECT in every way.  

Theme:  “Having A Ball Since 2009”

Color Scheme:  Light Pink, Blush, Gold and Burlap

I was so excited for the day to finally come.  It was a small affair with only 7 of us. (we have a small family)   We shared funny stories, tips for a happy marriage and swooned over her personal gifts from everyone. 

I was so happy with how everything turned out.   From the invites to the cookies – all was perfect for this special lunch.  

 Laura also surprised me with this burlap hand written BRIDE banner.  It was the extra touch needed.  The bride to be even took it home to hang it in her bridal suite for the wedding weekend!

DECOR :: Hand Lettered BRIDE Banner

I have been working on creating some new hand lettered items to add to my Etsy shop for awhile now and I am happy to say that you are slowly seeing them added to the shop. SO exciting!!!! First were the art prints for sale and now, today I am unveiling my latest hand lettered item! 

CUSTOM hand lettered burlap banners!

 

I am having so much fun creating these and seeing what my clients are doing with them. This one pictured below was designed for a bridal shower last weekend and she added some tissue garland to the ends and it looks great. I have gotten a few orders already just from the photos I have shared on my Instagram feed. (make sure to follow me there as I post all the new items there first!) So THANK YOU for those who have contacted me already!

Each burlap banner is created on heavy burlap so you can count on it to keep it's shape and durability. Each order is hand lettered to your specific color scheme and request! Then once completed, I make sure and string it on jute twine, add flowers/lace to match and it's ready to be mailed out to you!

This one pictured above from my client used a pink, gold and cream color scheme and wanted to keep it very rustic for her shower.

WEDDING :: Farm wedding inspiration board

Is this board just gorgeous or what? Since we have been talking about parties on the farm & cowboys on the blog this week, I only thought it appropriate to bring you an inspiration board that is down right rustic. And a lil bit of western. The look of a barn wedding mixed with a touch of cowboy = the perfect wedding inspiration 

for a farm wedding!

Just imagine a neutral color palette with some vibrant color added in. Bales of hay for your guests to sit on or to use as decor. Kick up your heels by wearing your cowboy boots under your dress. Have your favorite horse serve as ring bearer. Decorate with lots of burlap and lace for that 'down home' feeling. Instead of a candy bar, do it up by having all of your favorite cookies stashed in jars for your guests to enjoy. Lace, lace and more lace is the perfect dress for this country wedding. Send your guests home with these horse shoe escort cards that allow them to find their table with ease and serve as a reminder of the fab night they are about to have. ;)
