FREEBIE :: Valentine Bubble Flags

non candy valentine, free valentine, bubble flags, valentines day

Hey there - today I am sharing the super CUTE, super EASY, non-food Valentines that my daughter is passing out to her class on Valentines Day. I LOVE how they turned out! So many moms love having an alternative to a candy Valentine for their kids to pass out and this is a perfect solution PLUS bubbles are so much fun!!!!

I realize that this is NOT an original idea, after perusing Pinterest afterwards {ughhh}, but it is a little different & I made it into a FREE download for you all, so we're all ok with it right? ;)

Real quick, pick up your supplies: print your FREE download of Valentines bubble flags, pick up the bubble wands at Target in the seasonal section (these were 24 in a pack for 3 bucks!), grab some scissors & double-sided tape or glue & you're ready to go!

Use the glue, double-sided tape or both to attach to the bubble wands after cutting them out!

TIP! Have your child write their name on the backside of the flag BEFORE attaching to the bubble wands - it will be much easier - trust! ;)

Kids Valentine IDEAS :: Easy Lollipop Valentines

DIY lollipop valentines, kids valentines, classroom valentines, silly hearts

Valentines Day is almost here and I have been sharing with you a few different IDEAS you can use for last minute kids Valentines ideas that they can pass out in their classrooms or to their friends!
Today I am sharing a couple variations on Lollipop Valentines that your kids can use to hand out in the class. I am sure you have seen most of these but it's always good to have options! =)

We can keep it simple with these 2 alternate ideas to paper valentines.

Grab some lollipops from your favorite store, attach these Silly Heart toppers from my shop to them and then simply have them write their message on the back & it "stands out" a little more with their friends! =) DONE!
Just tape or glue stick the lollipop to back of topper & attach ribbon.

OR cut a slit in top & bottom of party topper & insert lollipop.

Are you feeling just a little more creative? Or just need a craft idea for the classroom parties at school for your kid? How about this one - Valentines Lollipop flower!

steps to creating this:
1. cut 4" x 11 strip of pattern paper
2. fold in half lengthwise with the pattern side in
3. fold vertically in half
4. fold vertically in 1/2 again
5. unfold & draw 1/2 of a heart on each fold of the 4 squares that were created when folded
6. cut out the heart patterns
7. stack all 4 hearts on top of each other & take hole punch & punch a hole about 1/4" up from bottom
8. place hearts on top of each other, lining up the hole & adhere a little glue to keep in place

** few tips to making this work - do NOT make the heart pattern 'fat' - draw the sides of the heart straight otherwise when you stack them, it will overlap too much & not look like a flower in the end. Also you can have your kids write a message on the back & give out instead of a paper valentine.
{The tags I used to attach to the lollipops AND the paper I used to make the lollipop flowers came from the 'Silly Hearts' KIDS Valentines collection that is on SALE in the shop right now!}

One more FAB kids Valentines idea I want to share with you is one that my friend Terri did.

She started with some great Valentines that had a pic of her adorable little girl on them & then added the Valentines Day photo props from the shop, along with some lollipops to add a little fun to them! It's sooooo CUTE! Thanks for sharing Terri!

{CRAFTY TIP} EASY Valentines Wreath

Hello all!  It’s Melissa from My Party Passion coming to you today again
from my crafty shop (aka my family room bar) lol

Today – real quick – wanted to share with you a fun easy and inexpensive tutorial for a Valentine’s  Day Wreath – using Laura’s printables from her "KISS ME" Valentine’s Party Pack!

We have this closet door at the top of our stairs that I always have a wreath hanging on it. This one is one I made a few years ago with white flower punches, hot glue and a dollar store foam wreath. I love changing out the wreath for holidays!  It’s one of the first things that guests in our home would see.

What I used to create a special wreath for Valentine’s Day, was again,  my favorite foam wreath from dollar store (I use this one over and over again…never keeping the wreath the same year and year
(that is why you see the “remnants’ of the Gingerbread party wreath still attached – hehehe)   Also some glue dots but you could use tape. A few Dollar Tree glittery heart picks and some paper fringe (I buy mine at Party On Designs) but you could use any.

All I do is secure the fringe to the wreath and wind it all around the wreath.   Then I took 1 of the glittery heart picks and took the heart off another one.   Attaching the heart to the other end of the stick.  I then cut out one of Laura’s cute Valentine’s Party pack – Postcards (the Kiss Me one is what I used here) and used a glue dot to secure that to the middle of the stick. I then attached the stick to the wreath by using a glue dot behind each heart and stuck to the wreath itself.

Added a pink ribbon to hang and per ‘er up!  Fun, easy and so easy to change this out
for St. Patrick’s Day next month!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting today!  I hope you have an Awesome Day and I invite you to stop by the blog and visit – stay awhile!
Melissa
