Fall is here and with that comes the excitement of getting out the Halloween home decor! I love this time of year as it's major home decorating season around my house! Halloween just happens to be one of my favorite holidays so it's no wonder I love busting out the Halloween home decor and Halloween candles as they bring my home to life through the smells of the season and all of the fun decor!
Typically I don't usually go all out with the Halloween home decor but sometimes I like to do a little more and this year is one of those years. Today I am going to share my first decorated Halloween space for the year. I say first because I usually decorate the mantle and a few Halloween home decor items scattered about and that's it but this year I wanted to add an area that had a spooky vibe to it as we may be having a Halloween party this year and I wanted to be ready! Plus I just received some fabulous new items from Yankee Candle that worked so well for this table and gave it a dose of an old Halloween spooky vibe that I love, every time I walk past it.
It's amazing how I can get two different looks with this spooky Halloween tablescape. One that's not so spooky when the lights are turned up . . .
. . . and then of course when the lights are turned low. I love the way the Halloween candle holders give me that spooky Halloween vibe and makes it look so awesome with the candles all aglow!
I created this simple Halloween table using just a few items I already had on hand plus a few new awesome ones because of my partnership with Yankee Candle. This amazing haunted house that holds tea lights and gives off an amazing glow is my new favorite! Plus this tea light bottle set, that looks like potion bottles . . . yeah am digging it too as it's the best Halloween candle holder because the bases are spider legs, each one has a different label on them, it holds a tea light and the color scheme is so vintage Halloween. Plus I get to enjoy my new wreath I got on clearance last year and I painted a new piece of art that simply says "31" to add to this vignette. They all look so good together!!
One of the big reasons I love fall and the holiday seasons is because of all of the wonderful scents out there you can fill your home with. Growing up, my mom always made sure our home smelled fabulous at all times using candles. Great scents make me feel all warm and cozy because a good smelling home reminds me of that special feeling of home, so I have always done the same and hopefully my daughter remembers this as well. So how my house smells is very important to me, so when Yankee Candle sent me some tea lights that smell like candy corn . . . oh my goodness, I was hooked! I have always been one to love candy corn (to eat) and a lot of the reason is because I think they smell good so when they sent these tea lights to use with my new Halloween home decor, I was super psyched. Let me just say . . . they do NOT disappoint this candy corn smell loving girl! Delish! ;)
