HUM... I think my "scooter", that had a skate board with handles... I can still see my Dad riding that thing down the hill and going to the emergency room for 11 stitches in his head! lol

2. Favorite Christmas song?   

Whewww... to many. Rudolph the red nose reindeer

3. If you were a reindeer - which one would you be? And WHY? 

I would probably say Rudolph because I'm always in a hurry and can't stand low drivers! lol 
 

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you? 

Growing up, my Mom always made her famous Gumbo... yumm...we only get it one time a year and no matter what state I'm in, I will always fly home JUST to make sure I get some Gumbo!

5. What does YOUR stocking look like?

A combo of everything! A ton of odds and ends lol

 
6. Favorite Christmas treat?

Of course it would be cupcakes and cakepops!

 

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation? 

I would say, Disney World... when I was a kid.  We went during Christmas and I'll never forget how many lights they had up.

   

8. When do you start decorating your house?

Day after thanksgiving however I'm always wanting to put it up after Halloween! Christmas is my favorite holiday!

 

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

1 in livingroom and one n my daughters room. What color scheme are they? Ummm each year is different. This year, it's all colors! Last year was silver and red.

 

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?  
I would sure hope I made the nice list this year!

Name is Kristin ;) :P I started Stampin' Fanatic! in 2008 when a former co-worker asked me to do her wedding invites. I continued to get orders from friends and family for hand stamped cards & invites. I had my daughter in 2009 and threw her a super sweet cupcake themed 1st birthday where I made my first banner, cupcake toppers and more. I started to get more orders and in May 2010 I opened Stampin' Fanatic! on Etsy. This year I have grown leaps and bounds and happily have 1000+ FB fanatics AND I've had 500 Etsy sales. Hubby now assists me by cutting paper, photographing and editing pics for all my items & running to the post office several times a week! I love my little biz and hope to one day do event planning, as well!

Easy Bake Oven! Always wanted one then, and still want one now!! Maybe that is why I am horrible baker!

2. Favorite Christmas song?  
This Christmas, especially the Christina Aguilera version

3. If you were a reindeer - which one would you be? And WHY?  

I think Donder... he sounds kinda dorky ;)

 
4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?  

We always take a day trip "Up North" about an hour and half N of Detroit, and 45 mins from our home to Frankenuth, MI. It is a little Bavarian village that consists of lots of adorable shops and is famous for their chicken dinners. Near by is the largest outlet mall in the state. It's always a good time!!

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

Red and Green, ribbon stripes. From Pottery Barn. I got them on clearance at the end of the season one year, they are one of my fav Christmas decor items!

 
6. Favorite Christmas treat?

I love my mom's cookies... So maybe those collectively. Potato Chip Cookies just may be my fav, though!

 

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation? 

Christmas Vacation... I have to admit, I have never watched "A Christmas Story"!!

   

8. When do you start decorating your house?

Right after Thanksgiving... Usually the Sat/Sun after.

 

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

Usually, just one. Color scheme is red/green for the most part. Lots of glitter, lots of snowflakes. My daughter (3.5) will have a PINK tree in her room this year too, we just ordered it and she can't wait for it to come!!

 

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year? 
Def the nice list!! I am ALWAYS on the nice list, though! ;)

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?  

We exchange gifts between the 5 of us at home on Christmas Eve.  Names are pulled the day we put up the tree which is usually celebrated with a little 'lightning of the tree' party even if it's cookies and milk.  It is tradition for us to celebrate the original 12 days of Christmas ending on Three Kings Day in January 6th. The kids leave grass for the camels and wake up on Three Kings Day to receive gifts from The Wise Men.

5. What does YOUR stocking look like?

It's burlap-y

6. Favorite Christmas treat?

Coquito.  A rum flavored egg nog drink traditional from Puerto Rico.

 

7. A Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation?

Christmas Vacation

   

8. When do you start decorating your house?

After my daughter has had her birthday party on December 7th.  We don't like for it to mix in with the decor =)

 

9. How many Christmas trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?

Kitchen with treat ornaments or traditional red, white and green depending on how we feel that year.  My son has one in his room with the 12 days of Christmas decor, the girls have a girly and glittery blue, pink and purple decorated tree in their room and the main tree is a Woodland Theme. Last year I started an 'In Flight' tree in silver and pink with birds and owls!!!

 

10. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

Definitely on the nice list.
