thankful cards, thanksgiving freebie, thanksgiving deor, thanksgiving

Hello my friends!

It's starting to look a lot like the beginning of the holiday season around here and with Halloween almost here, we may want to start looking to the next: Thanksgiving. Or at least start saving and pinning ideas right? ;)

Today over on Craftaholics Anonymous, I am sharing with her readers a fabulous Thanksgiving card that is available as a FREE download that can be used to record all of the things you and your families are thankful for this year! That's right, I designed a gorgeous 'thankful card' using some hand lettering and watercolor designs I came up with for this project.

I hope you will head on over there to check it out and let me know if you do. I would love for you to leave a comment there so she knows that you liked what I am designing for her! (wink wink) I would really appreciate ANY love you have time to give! ;) Remember the best part about it is, it's a FREEBIE of course, but if you aren't ready to think about Thanksgiving yet, simply PIN it so you have it saved and can print it later when you are ready! ;)

Since I am a monthly contributor for the Craftaholics Anonymous creative team, you can find lots of my freebie designs over there as well, so please check it out! Head on over to grab your FREE download here and enjoy this Thanksgiving season with your loved ones! ;)
Remember if you have any great ideas for me that you would like to see made available into a FREE download, please let me know as I may be able to make that happen for the year!

Comment below if you have a thought . . .  ;)

EATS :: Monster Brownie Bites

Happy Halloween!

It's almost that time of year! Time to think about and prepare a fun treat for those Halloween parties, kids classroom parties or just a treat for your co-workers . . . regardless of the who, I have the what for you today. The best part is, they are quick. They are easy. They are NO bake and they only require FOUR ingredients! Tada . . . I give you Monster Brownie Bites!

I mean seriously how CUTE are these plus they are fun to make AND a great way to let your kids get involved in the creating process as well, if you'd like.

Something I love doing (and I am seeing myself do more and more of the older I get and the less time that I have), is to look for ways to cut my time spent on a project and get the same cute results in less amount of time. Anyone else? Feel free to yell AMEN to that! ;)

Soooooo enter my latest idea. One that is super simple and like I mentioned, takes only four ingredients you can buy at the store and then assemble them and you will look like you spent all afternoon making them when we know you really only spent about 15 minutes, but that will be our little secret! ;)

How to make Monster Brownie Bites

You will need a container of brownie bites- already made (I get mine in my grocery's bakery), a can of pre-made frosting, sprinkles and some edible candy eyeballs.

To create these guys, simply cut the brownie bites in half (carefully) and then spread a gallop of icing in the middle of the two brownie bite halves. You can choose to add food color to your frosting beforehand, if you like (I made mine purple). After you put your brownie bite back together, with the frosting between the two halves, you should end up with something that resembles a brownie-looking macaroon! (at least I thought so). You will then want to roll the sides of the brownie bite through your sprinkles so it sticks to the frosting. Then to add the eyeballs, place a tiny drop of frosting to the back of the edible eyeballs (it acts like 'glue') so they stick to your brownie and you are done!

FREEBIE :: Halloween Chalk Art Print

chalk art drawing, hand lettering, boo, halloween art print, free halloween art

Happy (almost) Halloween my friends!
Hopefully you have gotten some great inspiration from the ideas I have been sharing over the last couple of weeks about Halloween to get you ready for the big day and today I am sharing another one that you can use: a FREEBIE!

I wanted to design something for you that had a classic vintage feel with a little bit of a spooky vibe to it. One of the ways I thought to achieve this was by busting out my chalk and also my black drawing paper and I love the look I came up with, don't you? It's a perfect mix of old school meets a modern edginess.

As you can see, this print looks great in a frame or attached to a clipboard to display. So many great ways to incorporate this chalk art print into your current Halloween decor for sure. ;) I hope you enjoy this 'eye candy' as you prepare for the coming of Halloween in a few weeks. Here's your FREE: 'Halloween Chalk Art Print'!

A couple things to make note of: if you are going to frame this print, then regular computer paper will work BUT if you want to display on a clipboard I would suggest maybe a heavier stock of paper so it keeps it's shape! Just sayin'. ;)

Also when you print out this Halloween print, you will notice that I made it a smaller size this time: a 5x7 print. However, let me share with you a little trick in case you would prefer a bigger size. IF you want it larger, say an 8×10, simply click on “fit to page” in your printer options and you will get one like you see below (on the left). The 5×7 print is in the chunky black frame (in the photos).

For some reason, I am really liking the smaller size on this print as it makes a good focal point but just not so ‘in your face’ big. Sometimes you just want things on a smaller scale in print, so here ya go!  You have options now and feel free to choose what works best for you!

I love the look of chalk drawings and especially paired up with a bit 'of hand lettering . . . I am feeling some MORE prints like this to come in the very near future, perhaps for the next holiday? ;)

Feel free to download your own 'Halloween chalk art print' and add this fun print to your home! I would love to hear if you are using it, so please feel free to let me know below.

**FREE printables are for personal use ONLY and may not be sold or claimed to be your design. By printing any freebies, you are agreeing to these terms.
