My name is Brittany and I am the proud owner of Edible Details which specializes in custom fondant creations, I have been in the business 1 year today actually! And love every minute of what I do.

After 3 years in the world of cakes and cupcakes in California I instantly developed a passion for adding details to my work with fondant, and in the back of my mind always wanted to do a business where that's all I did! When I moved back to the mid-west that was when the opportunity to make that dream a reality came along and I was soon starting my business and its been a growing love of mine ever since!

I love using fondant in unexpected ways (Its not just the sweet stuff on cakes!) and one of my favorite fondant crafts with kids is to make our own candy necklaces. Here is a tutorial on some different ideas for beads to get those creative juices flowing! this is a really fun party craft to either let the kids do or make ahead of time for younger kids and let them make a necklace using your pre-made beads. Edible Jewelry - what more could a girl want!? :)
