FREEBIE :: Thanksgiving Printable

thankful cards, thanksgiving freebie, thanksgiving deor, thanksgiving

Hello my friends!

It's starting to look a lot like the beginning of the holiday season around here and with Halloween almost here, we may want to start looking to the next: Thanksgiving. Or at least start saving and pinning ideas right? ;)

Today over on Craftaholics Anonymous, I am sharing with her readers a fabulous Thanksgiving card that is available as a FREE download that can be used to record all of the things you and your families are thankful for this year! That's right, I designed a gorgeous 'thankful card' using some hand lettering and watercolor designs I came up with for this project.

I hope you will head on over there to check it out and let me know if you do. I would love for you to leave a comment there so she knows that you liked what I am designing for her! (wink wink) I would really appreciate ANY love you have time to give! ;) Remember the best part about it is, it's a FREEBIE of course, but if you aren't ready to think about Thanksgiving yet, simply PIN it so you have it saved and can print it later when you are ready! ;)

Since I am a monthly contributor for the Craftaholics Anonymous creative team, you can find lots of my freebie designs over there as well, so please check it out! Head on over to grab your FREE download here and enjoy this Thanksgiving season with your loved ones! ;)

Remember if you have any great ideas for me that you would like to see made available into a FREE download, please let me know as I may be able to make that happen for the year!

Comment below if you have a thought . . .  ;)

I have been a fan of hers for a long time so I am so honored to have been chosen and I hope you will follow me there too!

My main focus, that I decided to share with all of her fans, is of course, you guessed it . . .  my hand lettered art prints! I will be contributing over there once a month and my hope if that her readers will love what I design for them just like you all do here! I may change it up from time to time and get a little crafty but if you would like to check out this art print I designed for her readers as a FREE download, then head over there and grab this print that I designed this month!

Hope to see you there!

Dessert Contributor: Erin Heflin

from Whip It Good Cookies

I'm Erin Heflin with Whip It Good Cookies.  Whip It Good Cookies was created almost 3 years ago.  I have always had a passion for all things creative. I can honestly say however, that I never thought my creative passion would lead me to baking and decorating cookies. While I was on maternity leave with my youngest son in 2010, I discovered a world full of creative and inspiring women on the internet that were doing all of the things that I love to do and blogging about it. It was through my blog-stalking that I ran across a picture of a decorated cookie. I immediately thought to myself, "I can do that." So I did.

I purchased a few supplies, researched, played around with numerous recipes and messed up a lot of cookies before I figured it out.

Here I am almost 3 years later and now I get to inspire others.

Before I started making cookies I was always a “brownie out of a box” kind of girl.  My husband would attest to that.  :)  It wasn't until I fell in love with the idea of decorating cookies that I really took an interest in baking and learning more about good ingredients, etc.  I now love to bake cupcakes, cakes and cake bites too.

Being a wife and a mommy to my 2 young boys comes before my cookies.  I also work in child welfare so it is not until I am done with work, dinner is cooked, everyone's fed,  lacrosse practice is out of the way, homework and baths are taken care of the kids are in bed, that I get time to work on cookies.

I am so blessed to have the opportunity to create something that makes other people happy.  I am looking forward to sharing some fun things with you!

1. What are 3 things you MUST have when throwing a party?
~ I love having a backdrop to the desert table
~ Home made decorations - there are so many things that can be made at home to add special touches
to the party
~ cookies! - cookies are a great addition to the dessert table or to use as favors

2. Please share 3 random facts people may not know about you:
~ I am a paper goods hoarder; I have kept all of the party paper goods (plates, napkins, invites, etc.)
from my all of my boys' parties
~ I am a Friends junkie. I've seen every episode (who hasn't) and will always watch it when a rerun is on
~ I have a degree in criminal justice; all my life, I wanted to be a police officer

3. What has been your FAVORITE party you have thrown to date?
~ My favorite party that I have thrown has been my son's first birthday

 Dessert Contributor: Kimberley Mulla
from Kimberley's Kitchen

My Mom gave me my first cookbook when I was six years old. I have been baking and cooking ever since.

Now a mother of two children, I have launched my food business, specializing in artisan marshmallows and confections. I am passionate about quality food and the environment. I want to sell a product that I would feed my children. The ingredients are simple, often local, organic and fair trade as well.

I live with my husband and daughters in Telkwa, BC- a village outside of the small town of Smithers. We moved to the beautiful Bulkley Valley to enjoy life, local food, and live our dream. I love making marshmallows. Every single one. It brings me so much joy to create something unique, tasty, and delightful.

1. What are 3 things you MUST have when throwing a party?
~ 3 things I must have: paper napkins, marshmallows, and loot bags!
3 things I recommend for everyone: paper napkins, easy, fuss- free food, and music

2. Please share 3 random facts people may not know about you:
~ I used to be an actor
~ I am claustrophobic
~ I love the Beatles

3. What has been your FAVORITE party you have thrown to date?
~ One of my favorite parties was when Olivia, my youngest, turned one and Georgia, turned 3. We had a picnic in the park and the theme was A Very Hungry Caterpillar because it is one of our favorite books. The best part- hiring a professional photographer. You don't need to spend a lot of money, there are lots of new photographers looking for experience who won't charge very much but I can tell you it is entirely worth it. The other thing I love about this party, is that it is a REAL party, not a styled photo shoot. The photos from this party captured real people celebrating and I think it made it so much more beautiful.

  DIY/Craft Contributor: Wendy Diem
from Scrappy Bags

Hi there!  I am a stay at home mom living in Hershey, Pennsylvania, also know as the sweetest place on earth!

I love creating memory books and cards and would spend my whole day scrapbooking, but I do need to make time to take care of my family.  You know, those fun things like laundry, cleaning the house, etc.  My family consists of my wonderful husband, Rich; my son, Patrick, who has a serious Minecraft addiction; and my daughter, Caroline, who is our dancing queen.  We also have a black Labrador retriever, a crayfish and a guinea pig.

In addition to my love of scrapbooking, I work a few hours at our local scrapbooking store.  It’s a dangerous place to be, if you know what I mean!  I also am quite involved with our school district.  I am a substitute secretary and I volunteer in the school’s libraries.  I love the energy at the school and seeing all of the smiling faces of the kiddos.  They ALWAYS put a smile on my face when I am there.

Back in March, 2012, I had the privilege of going to NYC as part of Martha Stewart’s Dreamers into Doers to attend some workshops and the live taping of her show.  It was such a joy to meet lots of wonderful entrepreneurial women.  What a great experience it was!

1. What are 3 things you MUST have when throwing a party?
~ small group of friends, delicious desserts, and great music

2. Please share 3 random facts people may not know about you:
~ I hate to get up in the morning
~ would be happy to live on desserts
~ love to scrapbook all day long :)

3. What has been your FAVORITE item you have created to date?
~ a baby scrapbook to document first 12 months
