CRAFT :: Summer Welcome Wreath

Hello there everyone! 

Welcome to the first day of SUMMER! If you are like me then you have lots of fun things planned for this summer including maybe adding in some crafting time! ;) I wanted to stop in and let you know that if you are looking to add some 'eye candy' to your front door this summer then you are in luck! I designed this simple summer wreath for my monthly project over on Craftaholics Anonymous and I hope you will come over there to check it out and to say hello!

As I am sure you have figured out by now, I am now a monthly contributor for the Craftaholics Anonymous creative team, and having so much fun adding items and projects to share with you every month, so I decided to share a DIY for something we can all do to get us in the mood for summer . . . a Summer Welcome Wreath!

I have included all of the steps for this simple DIY that you can complete in no time flat and have this cute wreath to hang on your front door to welcome all of your guests this summer!

FREEBIE :: Mini Summer Banner

Hello everyone!
 
This week begins the official start to SUMMER and what better way to get ready than by offering up some FREEBIES right? ;) Let the summer celebrations begin!!!!

I for one am super excited about this summer as I have some fun things planned with my daughter that I am so looking forward to. But whether you have big plans to go somewhere or some smaller scale plans that maybe involve a staycation of sorts, this fun freebie is sure to come in handy. I love the fact that it's a smaller scale penant that can be used for ANY event or get together that you are doing this summer.

I used it here, tied to two pineapples for a summer luau spread. I set out all of my favorite tropical fruits along with some fruit bars and a cocktail and I had myself a mini luau party - super fun for summer! You could use this banner for a BBQ, a birthday party, an actual luau or just to add a little 'eye candy' to your summertime tables!

Hello there and welcome to JUNE and all the things of summer!!!

I still can't believe another school year is over, another one of MY birthdays have passed this week and we have already experienced the first full week of summer break around here but I LOVE it!  I really enjoy having my daughter home with me every day and planning fun things to do to enjoy this time. Summer break is in full force and hopefully you all have some activities planned and are looking forward to having lots of fun with your kids this summer, just like I am! ;)
