DECOR :: Easter Mantel Ideas

Hello my friends and welcome to SPRING!!! Today I wanted to pop on here real quick and share with all of you what I did with my mantel this year for Easter! Some years I go all out and other years I try to do the 'minimalist' look and I think this year was one of those years. I have been purging a lot of 'extra stuff' around the house and have settled on the things that I truly love and so that is what I decorated with this year. Most of the items you will see me use, I already had but of course I DID buy a couple new items because there were some really cute things out in the stores I visit, this year. The 'Happy Easter' art I picked up at Marshalls and the Easter bunny garland I found in the Dollar Spot at Target, as well as that pink honeycomb bowl.

After I decorated, I realized I may have a slight fondness of bunnies as they make quite an appearance on the mantel and around the rest of my house. I kept the mantel more on the whimsical side this year whereas the other Easter decor I have around the house is more the natural looking items. I love how it turned out and has put us all in the mood for Easter. I mean Easter bunnies, Easter chick and Easter eggs oh my! ;)

I really love Easter and everything about it. I love the whimsical side of it involving fun Easter egg hunts, the fun bright colors and all of the bunnies, chicks and fun items that just make it Easter. However I never forget the real reason we even have Easter and the meaning behind it. For all of you that believe like I do, I will have a fabulous art piece that I will be sharing here in a couple days, just in time to celebrate our King. {Happy FIRST DAY of SPRING} SALE on spring stationery line

It's really hard to believe that today is the 1st day of spring because here in Ohio we have had warm temperatures for awhile now & NEVER got any snow. Kinda bummed about that but whatcha gonna do?
