Hello there and welcome to March! This month is bringing us SPRING & EASTER and all kinds of fun. Don't you just love this time of year, as there's so many bright colors, warmer weather and of course longer daylight- YAY!

Before we move on into March, let's take a quick look back and see what you all were checking out the most in February . . . from the looks of it, you all are loving the hand lettering which makes my heart so HAPPY as that is one of my main focuses this year! ;) You will see me transition in to my 'art roots' even more. It started a couple years ago with the hand lettering and is moving in to more of the artsy side of me and re-visiting all of those wonderful things I used to make more time for . . .painting, watercolor, illustrating and I will be bringing you along for the ride, as I am pretty excited for these simple changes. Oh by the way, I have had people comment on my hand lettering and say things like, 'I love those fonts you used - what are they?' To address that thought, I will let you know that they are NOT fonts but rather me exploring different ways to HAND letter type . . .  otherwise known as me drawing each letter into these pieces of art. I hope that clears up why I don't mention the fonts as they are not . . yet. ;)

ART PRINT :: I Have Loved You for a Thousand Years

Hey there! Today I am sharing what I feel is a great heartfelt gift idea for someone you love. It's the perfect way to express the love you have for a spouse, a child or that best friend that has been there, for-like-ever! Any time you have a  sentiment written out, it seems to make it that much more meaningful, don't you think? I mean people can say the words to each other but when you see it written out or made into a piece of hand written art, I mean it makes it that much better . . . times a thousand, right? ;)

This latest one is done in black ink so it can coordinate with any decor that you need it to. Gold is still a huge accent, so I paired this print up with it, for a classic black and gold along with some greenery! I can also think of a few special occasions where this would make a fabulous gift idea: a wedding gift or used as decor at the reception, a bridal shower, a baby's room, an anniversary gift, Valentines or Sweetest day or just because.

ART PRINT - Xs and Os

 

Hello everyone! Are you guys all ready for the big 'love' day that is fast approaching? Me, I have been getting a few little things ready but that is about it so far. I did however have another art print idea come to me and wanted to share it with you all today. Why is it that ALL of my ideas come right before the holiday? lol Who knows, but nonetheless I wanted to get this up in the shop for you guys as I had some people interested already who have seen it on Instagram, when I was inking it.

 

The thing I like about this one is the message is subtle and is certainly a tongue and cheek kind of humor - especially since there may or may not happen to be a song that reminds me of this exact message. ;) I also wanted to make this one kind of bold and classic with the black and white stripes with a pop of red. I am really liking the hand drawn element it has to it and it definitely lends to it's character. This print looks fabulous framed and set out with your Valentines decor and it would also look super cute in an office framed or as you see below, on a clipboard, which I happen to like as well, any time of the year. I love the versatility of a clipboard as they are super quick to change out when you need to.
