ART PRINT :: HE is Risen

Hello my friends!  

Easter is fast approaching and I wanted to do a faith-based art print for all of my friends out there that celebrate this amazing holiday. I had mentioned it the other day, that I had one in the works for you. I for one, celebrate this holiday and embrace the true meaning of Easter as without this holiday and what He did for us, I wouldn't be the person I am.

Realize that no matter what you do or don't believe in, we can all agree that the celebration of hope is such a positive thing to focus on during the Easter season. I think we all need to focus on believing in a more positive way of living and being nicer to each other. I hope you will join me, to celebrate together and keep our focus on the hope that He gives us. 

I hope you enjoy these type of art prints that I plan on bringing you from time to time and appreciate the feedback for when I do. It is very encouraging and I so appreciate it more than you know.

ART PRINT :: Hey Y'all

Hello. Hi. Hey Y'all. Yes I say y'all and I am from Ohio. I know, I know what gives you ask? I have noooooooo idea but I have always said y'all and it throws everyone off because I do NOT have a southern accent so it's a surprise to everyone when it comes out of my mouth. I think it's hilarious. It's just such a fun thing to say, 'hey y'all' . . . or 'when y'all coming over?' . . .  or 'what's up y'all?' 

 

So naturally I decide to put it on my list as a 'must' ink someday and guess what? That someday is here and I am finally sharing it with y'all today! Oh happy happy day! I decided to ink this one in metallic gold from the get go because everyone is soooooo in love with gold. So you're welcome. I for one, am not a fan of the 'gold' but ya know, I have always loved what everyone else is not loving. Personally I am a silver girl or even a copper but gold . . .yeah not so much! When everyone was doing this, I was doing that. Yup one of thoooooose people! ;)

 

But I still love using gold in my designs as I love the way it looks with certain colors. Speaking of which, I just love the way it coordinates with this new color confetti from The Flair Exchange. I mean seriously look at the greens, gold and I am a sucker for pale blush . . .it's so pretty for fall.

WEDDING :: Rose & Gold Inspiration Board

Hello everyone & welcome to "Wedding Wednesday"!

  Gold is still HOT right now and very much still on trend but one thing that is even hotter is rose gold or rose and gold together! Just think of it as gold with a twist! I personally like it better as I'm not a huge fan of gold anything (gasp!) so the rose gold is much better to look at in my opinion. ;)

  It's easy to incorporate the rose color into your signature cocktail as most wines have a blush or rose hue to them, so this one is perfect for your event. Cake toppers are one of the TOP 5 items that brides can forget about so make sure to remember this detail as it can add an amazing statement just like this laser cut 'bride to be' that would be perfect on a shower cake. Chose a word like 'love' or your initial of your last name for your reception cake. Wearing the perfect dress for the bridesmaids is key to having a cohesive look on the day of the wedding. Make sure to choose a dress that will compliment yours and fit in with your color scheme . . .this one is a complete knock out! This cake is perfect for a romantic themed event and the ruffles are very much a hot request at the moment with bakers. Having a simple favor for your guests doesn't have to be complicated, something as simple as pretzel rods dipped to match your wedding would be perfect and the gold glitter on top is the perfect touch! Your reception tables will stun your guests when they look as pulled together as these. Choose linens to match and tie in flowers for the centerpieces that match those found in your bouquet. Designate an area where guests can relax near the bar or perhaps even outside with a comfortable sitting area complete with matching pillows to create a relaxing environment that your guests will surely appreciate.
