1. Pretend YOU are a kid again . . . what toy you asking Santa for?? 

I always wanted one of those long extendable tubes that you can crawl through.  I still tease my mom about the fact that I asked for it every yr. & never got it. {I am the youngest of 6 kids & just wanted a place to hide!!!}

2. Favorite Christmas song? I love the old classics like. "White Christmas"by Bing Crosby &"Blue Christmas" by Elvis. But also love The Beach Boys."Little St. Nick and "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses. {Sorry, couldn't pick JUST one! Lol!!}

3. If you were a reindeer - which one would you be? And WHY? 

Rudolph, of course...I light up the room with my sparkling wit & charm...JUST KIDDING!  I relate to him because I use my unique gifts to brighten the days of others.

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you? I spend a lot of time making sure we build great memories for our 2 girls.  Something they love doing is baking Christmas cookie ornaments & hanging them on our tree!  This year we added to the tradition by baking salt dough ornaments too!
 

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

I have a traditional stocking now{red & white}, but when I was a kid I had a HUGE stocking{I could almost fit inside.}  My stocking was always my favorite part of Christmas morning. 

6. Favorite Christmas treat? 

Actually, my favorite Christmas treats are almond cookies that one of my best friend's mother in law makes. {Now I'm literally drooling!!}  My daughter has nut allergies so I try very hard to stay away from anything w/nuts but I've been known to eat these cookies until I feel sick! Lol!

Without a doubt, I would be asking Santa for a bunch of My Little Pony toys! I asked him many, many times for those, and for some reason they never made it to my house! I guess Santa wasn't much of a My Little Pony fan!
 

2. Favorite Christmas song? Easy one, O Holy Night.

3. If you were a reindeer - which one would you be? And WHY? 

Dancer! I grew up dancing, and am still known to bust out the moves...mostly to amuse/embarrass my kids!

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you? Christmas baking, and lots of it! If I skimp on the holiday baking, it just doesn't feel right to me.
 

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

Traditional as traditional can be! It's red with Santa on it and my name on it...the whole family has similar stockings.

6. Favorite Christmas treat? 

My favorite Christmas treat is probably Baklava.  I only make it once a year, so every time I eat it, it definitely tastes like Christmas!

About Cakes And Kids - I started my company in January 2010 in an effort to make it easy for Mom's to make wonderful homemade cakes and cupcakes for their kids and have them look like they came from a bakery. My handmade fondant cake and cupcake toppers come in a large variety of designs to match any party theme.  I then expanded in August of 2011 to add a wonderful selection of party and baking supplies.  I left my day job in September 2011 to run Cakes And Kids full time and I am loving every minute of it.

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you? We go out the day after Thanksgiving to the same tree lot every year and buy our big beautiful Christmas tree which sits in our front window so all who drive by can see it.

It is dark green velvet and has an embroidered Minnie Mouse on it :)

6. Favorite Christmas treat? 

My Mom's traditional English fruit Christmas Cake covered in a layer of marzipan and then royal icing....mmmm, yummy!

Probably Prancer. I love to dress up and show off. I am very girly.

Rudolph...but not because he was famous or the lead reindeer. I love him because he was a misfit...and this lil' piggy is a lil' quirky and a bit of a misfit!

4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you? Every Christmas Eve my family reads {or recites}, "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" even if we're celebrating with the hubs' family in another state. I get teased by my big sisters every time I pull out the original book that's been in my family as long as I can remember. It just doesn't seem like Christmas without hearing it!
 

5. What does YOUR stocking look like? 

An old pair of jeans. I actually made us new stockings a few years ago from old jeans and each one has a back pocket on it. I put a red bandana in mine and a green one in the hubs'.

6. Favorite Christmas treat? 

Petits Fours and Tarolli-Driver "Secret" Recipe Cider...more family traditions!
