Go BUCKS :: FREE FB Timeline Cover Graphic





Hey there
I am sharing something a little different today as it is a HUGE day for us here in Ohio. Our beloved BUCKEYES have made it to the "superbowl" of college football and we could NOT be prouder!

Tonight they will square off with the Oregon Ducks for THE National Championship Game. Bragging rights. The number ONE spot. I am not one of these fans who jump on the bandwagon of whomever is 'hot' and winning at the moment. I have been a loyal fan for as long as I can remember. Heck when it was time for me to apply to colleges, I applied to just ONE. THE Ohio State University. My parents were like 'shouldn't you apply to a few more'? I was like . . .'nope, it's either there or I'm not going'. LOL Needless to say, I DID get accepted and was going to go but then I took a different road and went to art school. So it all worked out. ;)

My point is win or lose, I am a fan for life. But I am not too sure who else could have gotten this far with their THIRD string quarterback! Just sayin' ;)

Anyway, to prepare for this day, my friends, family and I always change out our social media pics to the Ohio State logo to bond together in solidarity. As I was looking around today for something I could change my FB timeline cover to, I wasn't finding anything, so I created something and thought you maybe would want to have it as well. Because you know, I assume you all ARE Bucks fans too right? lol

AND do NOT worry, I am not going to start writing about football or the Buckeyes so this is just one of those rare posts where you get to know the person behind the blog just a little better. ;)

WEDDING :: Silver & Gold Inspiration Board

  Gold and silver are HOT right now! Whether you pair them together or use them separately, they can really make an event because of their timelessness. Metals all by themselves work but if you want to add a fabulous color with them, they will also look stunning. The other great benefit of using these colors is they can be used ANY time of the year . . .no matter the season, they will always look amazing! Today I am sharing how using them paired together not only works but makes one gorgeous color palette . . .

 
  Use gold candles on metallic silver candle holders everywhere to give a romantic vibe around your wedding. This lil show stopper of a dress not only is classy but is a dress that can be used again for a night out on the town. Set the table for your guests using coordinating colors in the tablecloths, napkins, place settings and your menu so it all ties in together. I would love to attend a reception where I was served gold cotton candy - how fun is that? Go ahead and incorporate some fun surprises for your guests like this . . .it's something they are sure to remember. Mix gold and silver when creating or ordering your decor, just like in this wreath here and the fun backdrop that could be used behind a dessert table or a background to take pictures. Have your baker whip up amazing cupcakes instead of a cake . . . you can't go wrong either way when it looks like this.
