WEDDING :: Floral Garden Inspiration Board

Hello everyone & welcome to "Wedding Wednesday"!

floral straws, macarons, hand lettering, foral cake, floral shoes, floral dress, bunting

::  straws  ::  macarons  ::  dress  ::  bunting  ::  table tents  ::  cake  ::  flowers  ::  table numbers  ::  shoes  ::

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

  Spring and summer is the perfect time to celebrate all things floral. Floral patterns, floral dresses, floral cakes . . . all of it! It's the perfect backdrop for outdoor events as florals can be found everywhere which makes planning an event around this theme super easy this time of year. Now would I recommend mixing all of these floral ideas together? Oh heavens no, but pair up a few floral items with a solid color from your color palette and you have one amazing event.

  Make sure to have plenty of straws on hand at the bar for your signature cocktails and mocktails, these striped and floral designs will look stunning in those tasty drinks! Dress up an area easily with some floral bunting as it turns an area into a well decorated area in a snap. Choose to have your guests enjoy their treats off of some gorgeous floral tableware. I love the small floral details on these. If you are looking for the perfect bridesmaids dress to coordinate with a floral garden wedding, this IS the one - I mean the colors, the design, it is seriously stunning! I love everything hand lettered and these table tents would be the perfect little accent on tables to let guests know what they are eating. Your cake should command the attention of the table and having one this gorgeous will surely do the trick! Add floral touches to a dusty blue color scheme like this chair for guests or the backing of this table number frame, set on the tables. Remember a little can go a long way. Maybe you aren't feeling the whole 'wearing florals thing', in that case, maybe you would prefer a floral heel instead paired with a plain colored dress.

Have you ever attended a floral garden wedding or party that used these colors and patterns?  What was your favorite element of the event?  I would LOVE to hear the details . . .spill below ;)

WEDDING :: Aquamarine & Cobalt Inspiration Board

Hello everyone & welcome to "Wedding Wednesday"!

flower vases, wedding cake, macarons, rose petals, paper lanterns, bridesmaid dress, earrings

 ::  flower vases  ::  dress  ::  paper lanterns  :: earrings  ::  macarons  ::  cake   ::  rose petals  ::

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

   How gorgeous and unexpected is this color palette? I am in love with this colorway and am really loving the softness of the aquamarine paired with the bold color of the cobalt. I have been meaning to pair up something similar to this for awhile and then my daughter requested these colors for her birthday party! Yup, aquamarine and cobalt. The girl has got taste, is ahead of her time and will have my job soon! ;)

  I am loving this monochromatic look of these dainty and sweet flower vases with the same color flowers in them. Pairing a bunch of these down the center of long tables makes quite a statement. This dress I found is exquisite. I mean the details on this are amazing as well as the color plus it looks like it would actually be comfortable. Tie in both colors of your wedding palette with something as simple as the earrings. This pair would look stunning with either an aquamarine dress, like pictured here, or even a cobalt blue one, not to mention the girls would love to receive these as a gift! Wedding decor for your special day can be as easy or as detailed as you make it. Keep it simple by adding a few paper lanterns to your space or throwing down some rose petals on the aisle before walking down. Your wedding cake and the desserts you serve can be made to include your colors as well. This stunning cake is sure to have your guests talking, especially since the details and colors are amazing. Always serve up a favorite dessert of yours to the guests, like these macarons, or some other treat that you enjoy.

Have you ever attended a wedding or party that used this color palette?  What was your favorite element of the event?  I would LOVE to hear the details . . .spill below ;)

WEDDING :: St Patty's Day Inspiration Board

Hello everyone & welcome to "Wedding Wednesday"!

st pattys day wedding, wedding inspiration, green and gold wedding, lucky in love, green and gold tissue garland, four leaf clover, green dress, green martini

::  cake  :: dress  ::  cocktail  ::  art print  ::  cufflinks  ::  napkin decor  ::  garland

   St. Patty's Day is coming soon and I bet you didn't think you could do a St. Patty's Day theme wedding and keep it classy huh? Well, look at this board I put together! I am loving it, as it would be great for a couple who's Irish and want to represent for their wedding! Today I am sharing how using shades of green paired with a hint of gold, works well together for those who want to embrace this theme around this time of year  . . .

  The cake is THE show stopper so make sure to pick one that embraces your theme and looks fabulous sitting all alone. I adore the huge flower on the side to give this cake more of a feminine touch plus it exudes springtime! This dress is a perfect choice for the girls to wear as it's adorable and would look great at a day or evening wedding. A classic cocktail featured at the bar in your wedding colors is a must, so why not serve up some green martinis to your guests! Using fun art prints that tie into your theme is a fun way to add a personal touch to the tables. Set this 'Lucky in Love' print on the cake, gift or food table for added decor. These clover cufflinks are the perfect gift for your groom or his groomsmen. Keep your place setting simple by adding a clover casually tied to a ribbon around the napkins. Hanging a fun tissue garland, like this one, over the gift table or anywhere you need to add some pizazz is a fun and affordable way to add some color to the space.

Have you ever been to a St. Patty's day theme wedding that used lots of greens in their color scheme?  What was your favorite element of the event?  I would LOVE to hear the details . . .spill below ;)

WEDDING :: Peach, Mint & Gold Inspiration Board

Hello everyone & welcome to "Wedding Wednesday"!

mint & gold, peach & mint wedding, inspiration board, peach & mint, wedding

::  drink  :: straws  ::  dress  ::  garland  ::  ring  ::  favor
::  love is sweet sign  ::    macarons  ::  bouquet  ::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

For this week we are talking about a really popular color scheme right now: peach, mint & gold! These colors paired up together, can look rich when you add the gold in the mix or use it in a rustic setting with a little burlap and it still looks fab! So many great options using this color palette!
  Drinks are such a must to have at your parties. Especially if you give your drink of choice a fun name and make it a signature drink for the event. A peach flavored drink would be a great choice with these colors. An easy decor option is making sure to have colorful straws on hand for those drinks, of course in your signature event colors! This amazing cocktail dress could be worn to an event, as a guest or it would make an amazing bridesmaid dress whether paired with some fab heels or even some cowboy boots! If you are looking for inexpensive decor items that pack a punch, these sewn circle buntings are fairly easy to make if you are feeling crafty. Use a circle punch in coordinating paper, punch & sew together or string them to add a bit of whimsy to your event. Accents of rose gold are the perfect metal for a matching piece of jewelry whether for the bride or in a fun piece of jewelry to give to the bridesmaids. Shall we talk sweets? . . . I am loving these peach marshmallows that are in a knot to give to your guests as a wedding favor. And what about these macarons? These look amazing. Regardless of what you serve for dessert, having a coordinating hand lettered sign is the perfect accent to your table of desserts. The bouquet is key to coordinate with your wedding colors. Make sure to choose blooms that are the style you are going for. More expensive blooms are great for a more traditional wedding but wildflowers wrapped in some burlap would be great for a rustic wedding.

Have you ever been to a wedding where they used peach and mint with accents of gold? Did YOU have one or are you planning one? What was your favorite element of the event?  I would LOVE to hear the details . . .spill below ;)
