Today I am FINALLY sharing with you all the photos from the shoot of my "Little Chicks' EASTER collection that I shot a couple weeks ago. Preparing for my daughter's 8th birthday party this past weekend had taken up all my time & this got pushed back. BUT . . .now I am sharing & hope you enjoy it! If any of you need any last minute inspiration, this would be PERFECT as I show how you can create some simple, cute & EASY ideas by just using this collection! AND the best part is - I am offering it for a great price in my shop!
I wanted to bring the chick in as a design element since she was in the Spring collection & add some friends for her here. That way those of you who purchased the spring stationery collection could coordinate & use these together if you like.
You will see that I decorated the mantel with everyday things around the house + the
collection. I hung the banner across the front, placed the FREE
printable art in a frame, added some Easter decor, a cake stand in the
middle w/ cupcakes to tie in the dessert table display underneath &
done!
A few of the items included in the collection are these mini cards that can also be used for gift tags, thanks you cards & the accordian wheel is a sheet of paper from the paper pack included folded & I placed a topper in the middle. Simple yet effective! =)
Creating a simple & fast dessert table is easy just by using what you have around your house for decor, adding a few baked items or purchasing them & adding in a little creativity!
I love the little details - like putting some colorful jelly beans in a small platter then placing the cupcakes on them! The flower topper was created by just pulling a fake flower apart & taping a topper in the middle for a quick point of interest on the table!
One thing I wanted to do for this shoot is have Terri from Terri's Party Treasures (whom I met in NYC at the Martha Stewart's 'Dreamers into Doers' event & we became instant friends), custom design a cake pop that looked like my little chick for this collection! She nailed it! So happy with how she turned out!
I also contacted Nikki from The Sweetest Thing as I have been wanting to work with her & had her do the same design in a cookie! AWESOME!
Hope you got a lot of inspiration from this little Easter shoot & would love for you to share YOUR photos with me if you decide to invite "little chick" to your Easter celebration this year! =)
This
collection is ready for you to grab
from the shop & have an awesome Lil Chicks party for Easter this year!

always, if you EVER have any special custom design party collection
