and her husband of almost 8 years, Eric, are the lucky parents to a 3-year-old
sparkly girl and a 5-year-old deep thinker. She grew up in Puerto Rico but has
lived in Gainesville, FL (Home of the Gators) for 20 years. While enjoying a
fulfilling career as a Kindergarten teacher, a surprise pregnancy transformed
her life from working girl to homeschooling mommy and entrepreneur. In 2010, she
launched her blog and began selling her products locally. One year later, TiTi's
TuTu's shop opened up etsy and has continued to grow."

Let's get to REALLY know how she feels about Christmas-time, shall we?
1. Pretend YOU are a kid again . . .
what toy you asking Santa for??
Some type of electronic gadget. Probably a purple
Leappad.
2. Favorite Christmas
song?
For this traditional girl, it doesn't get better than O Holy Night. But I've
loved some contemporary songs like Don't Save it All for Christmas Day (Celine
Dion) and most recently A Baby Changes Everything (Faith
Hill).
3. If you were a reindeer - which one
would you be? And WHY?
Definitely Prancer because it's what I do. When I get excited, which is all the
time, I prance around the house giddy.
4. What is ONE tradition you do EVERY year that makes the holiday SPECIAL for you?
We have a wrapping paper ball fight after everyone opens their presents. I LOVE
hearing everyone laugh and seeing the room trashed at the end. It means we're
there, together, enjoying each other. It's a tradition we've had since I was a
child with my cousins and now I get to pass it on to my kids and their
cousin.
5. What does YOUR stocking look
like?
This year I have a white stocking with sequins. Yawn!
6. Favorite Christmas treat?
7. A Christmas Story or
Christmas Vacation?
On Christmas Eve, our family opens stockings, decorates cookies, and then goes
out to see lights before going to my parent's house for a movie and sleepover. I
always get the kids matching Pjs in their stockings which they wear from the
moment they get them after Christmas breakfast the next day. Well, I thought it
would be fun for all of us to go out in our Pjs to see lights one year. None of
the other adults joined me, but of course, I didn't care. I rocked out my Pjs at
the lights display, walked around in public, took pictures and all! Felt great.
Then, a few months later I ran into one of the photos. I could NOT believe my
husband let me do that!! I looked ridiculous!!! For days I was so sad that no
one in my family loved me enough to talk some sense into me. I will never forget
that!
8. When do you start
decorating your house?
The day after Thanksgiving
9. How many Christmas
trees do you put up? What color scheme are they?
What color scheme are they? This year I have 11 trees in my house! 1 large one
in the living room, a smaller one in each kid's room, and 8 decorative table top
trees spread out around the house. I went whimsical in our big tree:
nutcrackers, swirly trees, and glitter. Colors: Black, turquoise, purple, lime,
and fuchsia.
10. Are you on the
naughty or nice list this year?
Well, a few days ago my 5 year old looked sad so I asked him what was wrong,
"I'm sad because, remember the other day when I said you were a bad mommy?
You're not a bad mommy. You're a good mommy." Although I never recall him ever
saying that, I guess it means I'm on the nice list! Ha!
