{DAMASK ANNIVERSARY} Real party celebrating REAL love!

Here we go . .  FINALLY!
I have managed to squeeze in the time to finish this up for ya'll & appreciate the understanding! But I just have so many things planned for you & lots to work on, that blogging gets backed up & boy, once it does . . hard to play catch-up ya know? =)

So my 1 year wedding anniversary to the LOVE of my life was March 27 & I wanted to show my appreciation to all my family & friends for being such a HUGE part of it the year before so . . .
what better way than to base a party theme OFF my wedding!
The decor was black & white damask with accents of hot pink - who doesn't LOVE damask?
I don't think I could ever tire of it - so classy, yet hip & oh so modern!
Plus we were able to add in some of the pieces we used for the actual wedding since we DIY'd the whole thing last year & had a lot of the decor left.

And here we go! . . . . .

The invite . . .

 The decor . . . .

- accordion fan made w/ damask tissue paper & topper as center accent
- decorated our mantel as we planned a blessing ceremony with our friend who married us
- (L) topper in center & (R) banner in collection

- used one of the banner circles to decorate this lantern

NEXT . . everyone's favorite . . . THE dessert table  . . .
- I got to use the scrolled overlay tablecloths used at my wedding along with
the damask table runners from the reception
- I ALWAYS have to have MY pom garland . . .I NEVER tire of it . . .I just think it looks so pretty & is such a budget-friendly decor idea! Plus some good 'ol HUGE tissue poms along with some white tulle draped from the ceiling for a wedding-ish vibe! =)

THE DESSERTS!! . . .

- we had a champagne & dessert reception at our wedding so I wanted to re-create some of the things we had plus add some new items. I decided to also go for the "mini" version of some items because I just LOVE that trend right now! So FUN!!
- I decided to make Brownie Bite Pudding Shots as one of the items & place them in shot glasses along w/ a mini spoon!

- Donuts are really HOT right now as well, so I had found a recipe for vanilla bean BAKED donuts awhile back & bought some donut pans & gave it a whirl. So YUMMY . . . especially with that amazing glaze . . . .hmmm hmmmm!

- these black & white circle cookies were a gift that were replicated after my wedding cake I had at my wedding.

- mini vanilla cupcakes

- chocolate covered strawberries & fruit kabobs (that's healthy- right? - lol)

- we also served strawberry shotcakes

- we served our SAME signature drink we had at our reception . . . Pink Sunset!
(which is RUM, pink lemonade & a splash of cherry - trust me . . GOOD STUFF!)

One of my FAVORITE gifts was our cake!!! - it was made by the same lady that
made my wedding cake & this one was a replica of one of my bridal shower cakes . . .
dark chocolate (my fav!)

 - the mini cake bunting is included in the this collection

Our blessing ceremony . . .

And FUN FUN FUN with the photo booth & props . . .

We had such an AMAZING party with lots of the people from that very special day!
We are truly blessed to have them all as part of our lives! =)

This DAMASK collection is PERFECT for weddings, showers & anniversary parties!
